
Finger Rolls
We have chosen a couple of fillings which work perfectly for an Afternoon tea. Quantities will depend on number of rolls wanted.
Here are the recipes for the Soya Chunks and Tofu which are used in these finger rolls.
Ingredients
- Bread Roll
- Vegan Margarine
- Soya Chunks - From Recipe Linked Above, For Soya Chunks & Mustard Finger Rolls
- English Mustard - For Soya Chunks & Mustard Finger Rolls
- Firm Tofu - From Recipe Linked Above, For Tofu & Mini Gerkin Finger Rolls
- Mini Gherkins - For Tofu & Mini Gherkin Finger Rolls
- Soya Sauce - For Tofu & Mini Gherkin Finger Rolls
- Black Pepper - For Tofu & Mini Gherkin Finger Rolls
- Olive Oil - For Tofu & Mini Gherkin Finger Rolls
Instructions
For Soya Chunks & Mustard Finger Rolls:
- Cut the soya chunks into very small pieces.
- Slice the roll and spread inside with margarine.
- On one side spread some mustard on the other place the chunks and serve.
For Tofu & Mini Gherkin Finger Rolls:
- Slice the tofu into thin strips.
- Into a frying pan place the olive oil, soya sauce and black pepper. Fry the tofu strips until cooked on both sides.
- Slice the roll and spread inside with margarine.
- Slice the gherkins and put on one side of the buttered roll and the place the tofu strips on the other and serve.
