Coconut Cream

This is a perfect way to end your creamy three course meal. This combination of ingredients works really well together. You might land up making more than one!

Ingredients

  • Vegan Chocolate Biscuits - 2 ozs (2 Cups), Crushed
  • Solid Coconut Milk - 100 mls (½ Cup)
  • Vegan Margarine - 2 Tbsp
  • Vegan Chocolate - 1 Tbsp, Plain, Grated
  • Icing Sugar - 1 Tbsp, Sieved
  • Lemon Extract - ½ Tsp
  • Salt - Pinch

Instructions

  1. Melt the margarine in a saucepan and add the crushed biscuits, stir well and cook on a low heat for one minute.
  2. Put into a serving container and place in the fridge.
  3. Into a small bowl add the coconut milk, lemon extract, pinch of salt and sieved icing sugar, stir well together.
  4. Carefully place the mixture on top off the biscuit one. and sprinkle on top with the grated chocolate chocolate and serve.
  5. Sprinkle on top with the grated chocolate chocolate and serve.

Vegan Calling started as a number of scribbled down notes, recipe cards and our adaptations of favourite meals!

We originally wanted to create a place for all these recipes to go so we originally thought of a cookbook. However, an online database allows us to not only avoid various stains and spills, we’re also now able to share our recipes with the rest of the web.

Non-Vegan friends that come around for meals are always surprised at how delicious our various starters, main meals, desserts and everything in between taste so good! They’re always asking how we make them so wonderful without using animal products – this site lets them and everyone else know how we do it!
