
Bean Dip with Tortilla Chips
This starter is a nice change from soup and other traditional starters. It can be served individually or on a platter for group eating.
Ingredients
- Kidney Beans - 8 ozs (1 Cup), Cooked
- Butter Beans - 8 ozs (1 Cup), Cooked
- Tomato Purée - 2 Tbsp
- Garlic Paste - 1 Tbsp
- Olive Oil - 2 Tbsp
- Lemon Juice - 2 Tsp
- Chives - 1 Tsp
- Paprika - 1 Tsp
- Chilli Powder - ¼ Tsp, Hot
Instructions
- Place all ingredients into a liquidiser and blend until smooth. (TIP: If you want a spicier dip, simply add more hot chilli powder.)
- Serve with tortilla chips.
